How long does it take to receive my order?

After you approve your proof, please check the specific product ordering page for available turnaround times. Shipping by UPS takes from 1 to 5 business days to get to you depending on your location. Click here for UPS Ground delivery estimates for your area.


What file format do you accept?
We accept the following file formats TIFF, JPG, EPS (fonts outlined), PDF, and DCS.

I’m a registered customer, can I change my shipping address on future orders?
Yes, you will be able to provide a new shipping address during check out.


Can I cancel my order?
You may cancel your order if you have not already approved your proof. If a proof has been created and sent to you, and then you decide to cancel your order, you will be charged for the cost of the proof and receive a credit for the balance of your money.


Can I change my order?
If you have not yet approved your proof, you may make changes to your order. A revised estimate will be provided to you. You will need to pay any additional costs you may incur before your change order is processed.


When will I be charged sales tax?
We are located in Peekskill, New York.  Sales tax is applicable to your order if it is shipped anywhere in New York. Sales Tax is determined on checkout. If your organization is tax exempt, please fax your exemption certificate to 914-788-5661 and indicate the Order Number.


How do I update my account information?
Once you are logged in, you can edit your account information.


How do I receive samples of products?
You can send an email request to samples@gothamprinting.com. Please specify the sample you need and be sure to include your mailing address.


What if I am not satisfied with my order?
Please call us at 888-562-8222 (Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30pm EST). It's our goal to make sure you are 100% satisfied with all your GothamPrinting.com™ orders.

How well will my job match what I see on my monitor?
Since all computer monitors are calibrated differently, we do not recommend you use it as a color reference. We offer fast turnaround and low pricing by printing to standard ink densities. If your file is color-critical, you may order a hard copy proof. We will email a PDF proof for your review with notes from our expert prepress technicians for your consideration.


What can I check on my electronic PDF proof?
The PDF proof that is emailed for your review and approval is the final opportunity for you to check the layout, bleeds, crops and final text. It is by no means an accurate color reproduction of your final printed piece. If your file is color-critical, you may order a hard copy proof. If you are satisfied with your emailed proof, return the email with the word "Approved" in the body copy. If your project requires edits, return the email with an explanation.


Do you offer hard copy proofs?
GothamPrinting.com offers hard copy proofs, which show reasonable likeness to the final printed pieces. Such proofs are recommended for color-critical art and must be requested before the print order is made. Hard copy proofs are printed on a substrate different from the actual paper stock and while its main purpose is to show color, variations may occur depending on the finish selected (gloss, matte, UV) for the final print job. We do not offer hard copy proofs for art that would be printed on uncoated paper.


How long does it take for me to get the proof of my job?
Once you have placed your order, you should get it within 1 hour after we receive your electronic files during 8:30am to 5:30 pm EST.


Will I always receive exactly the quantity I order?
Most of the time, we ship you slightly more than you ordered, free of charge. On occasion, we ship slightly fewer pieces than you ordered. Printing industry trade standards allow for underages of up to 5%. If you plan to send your print order to a mailing list or need a guaranteed quantity, we recommend that you order 5% over the minimum quantity you need.


How long is my art kept?
We do not archive your art files. In order to keep costs down, files are eliminated through a secure process after your job is shipped.
